A man was struck and killed Thursday morning while running across traffic lanes on the 91 freeway in Buena Park. The pedestrian, who was believed to be in his mid-30s, was walking along the side of the westbound 91 near Knott Avenue about 10 a.m. California Highway Patrol Officer Duane Graham said, before stepping into traffic..Who was pronounced dead at the scene, A Honda Civic struck the man.. The driver of the vehicle was not injured, Graham said. Including the car pool lane three lanes of the westbound 91, were closed for about two and half hours as investigators went over the scene. Graham said investigators don’t know where the man accessed the freeway, or why he apparently ran into the traffic lanes. They have not yet identified the man.
